Shelf life

The Salzwedeler Baumkuchen is produced without preservatives. To guaranty the freshness of the Baumkuchen there is minimum durability of 18 days.

Due to the special packing method we can guarantee a minimum durability of 30 days for our Baumkuchenkonfekt. Of course, we do not use any preservatives.


Storage


The Baumkuchen should be stored in a cold and dry place at about 15 centigrade.


Cutting of the Baumkuchen



The Baumkuchen is traditionally sliced in a circular manner according to the shape of the cake in order to make the tree rings visible.
